It requires low humidity in the nest, and nocturnal habits. Very sensitive to vibrations, especially at the beginning of the colony.
Origin: Spain, Portugal and France.
Recommended anthills: 3d anthill, Acrylic, Ytong, vertical with substrate.
Temperature: 21 – 24ºC
Humidity: 50 – 60%
Hibernation: Yes. From the end of October to the end of March, between temperatures of 8 to 11 ºC.
Food: Antnectar, small insects.
