The sand anti-leak ant nest consists of a single chamber with sand and a humidity system with sponges located on each side of the anthill and a rectangular mushroom that maintains the humidity of the ant farm preventing it from drying out daily.
Designed to be used with 100% silica sand, a mixture of sand with clay (80/20%) or any other compatible substrate.
Micro and mini ant species that require substrate and a high level of humidity such as Solenopsis Fugax, Lasius Flavus, among others …
It has a double edge to avoid any light bridging and to achieve 100% opacity for extremely photosensitive species.
It has an integrated foraging box, to be able to feed the ants reducing the risk of escape and / or use it with anti-leak mineral oil.
