Globular or slightly cylindrical cactus with well-defined ribs and short spines (sometimes spineless). Its color ranges from light green to grayish, with a smooth, glossy surface. It produces stunning tubular flowers in vibrant red or orange, up to 8 cm long.

  • Light: Loves plenty of light, prefers direct sunlight.

  • Watering: Moderate. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Water very little in winter.
