Diet: Omnivorous. Feeds on decomposing organic matter, dry leaves, decomposing wood, and occasionally calcium sources such as eggshells or cuttlefish bones.

Reproduction: Ovoviviparous. Females carry the eggs in a brood pouch until the young hatch.

Behavior: Moderately active, tends to take shelter under bark and rocks. It can be territorial in confined spaces.

Compatibility: Ideal for bioactive setups in reptile and amphibian terrariums, although its activity and size require monitoring to prevent competition with other isopod species.
